MYSTERY OF TRUE LOVE

Walking round the garden
Lonely he was without a soul
To engage in discourses-a nature’s plea
Ruminating in thoughts the need for two

Cattles I twos-male and female
Dalliancing in ecstasy from morn’ till eve’
Retreating to incubate in each one’s warmth
The day’s work’s done- emotions at rest

Man felt the need-but God sees the need
Caused him to big slumber-miracle ensued
From a side rib and angel is fashioned
Brought before him-what a glorious sight to behold!

Sprouting in joy, a poet so powerfully composed
“this at last is my bone, my flesh, so dear”
“Call her after me”-a divine principle engraved
She shall be loved, honoured throughout eternity.

Nature divine in display of eternal love
Man must “leave” for to “cleave”
A mystery so great resulting in ‘one-ness’
Of mind, of spirit, of purpose, of aspirations

One in flesh ne’er to be made twain
Animate or inanimate ne’er asunder put
For God the Father, Son and Spirit is One
A nature to be replicated by us his expressed image

One God, one man, one woman, one family,
Twain un-sighted, a divine principle a must do
Both in naked look on each other
Shame never a tool to fathom.

The mystery lies in love ne’er to quit
The mystery lies in seeing through the same glass
The mystery lies in ‘one flesh’ of stranger-two
The mystery of true love is:
Loving the imperfect half perfectly in God’s principle.
Man’s whole when she’s knitted to him.
