Ruminating over a day
Of the year
When I should express
My love for just a day
Where every other days
Of the month
Is filled with bitterness
Rancorous and filthy
Makes Val’s day
Hypocrisy in display
Cause true love
In its true essence
Should be exemplified only
On day by day
Hour by hour
Minute by minute
Second by second
Since no time or space
Is vacant in love
No colour or race
Is evident
Where true love exists
As true love takes
Into cognizance
Duty to love
As a matter of
Breath of our nostril
Xraying the exact nature
Of God the Father
Who gave up
Divinity to take on
Humanity to save us
Love then is
LOVING ALL INSPITE OF
NOT BECAUSE OF…..
