Bright Dawn Nigeria!!!

I see the fingerling flick of light from the horizon.
Gradually illuminating the sky,
as it approaches the dark side
of our collective landmass.

I can see its effect on the dark part of my country
i can feel its energy supply potency
its powerful beamed light engulfing
where hatred,nepotism,tribalism,extremism,corruption held sway in the past
giving strength of hope to a land filled with milk and honey.

Now i see the light put an end to the darkness of sorrows,pains,death
And scatters envy, hatred, bitter petals to decay
Drives away terror, break down barrier of religious fanaticism
Eschew bloodthirstiness power quest
Enliven our resolve to unite for progress to live our dreams.

Now I can see us live the vision of our founding fathers
I can see compatriots rise to welcome this light so great
I can see our desire to live the good bound of neighbourliness
I can see a Nigeria of selfless service, love undiluted, unity so strong & faith unend

Now the light is here-shining forth with healing in its wings
encamping the four corners of Nigeria...a new dawn my fatherland
God the Creator now directs our noble course
Leaders rededicate to Divine guidance and laws

We are now a nation sets on solid Rock that can never be moved!
Prosperity,peace,unity and love our only sincere pledge from leaders to followers...LIGHT IS ESSENTIAL TO DRIVE DARKNESS AWAY...HAPPY INDEPENDENT ANNIVERSARY NIGERIA, THE LEADERS AND NIGERIANS...GOD BLESS US THIS YEAR OF TRUE DIVINE JUBILEE!!!

CUT SHORT AT PRIME ( A POETIC THOUGHTS ON SLAIN NIGERIAN YOUTH)

Tears flow daily as of River Euphrates,
Tears of sorrows, pains and agonies.
Tears of heartaches-freely flowing,coloured by blood-

Of the innocent children-mothers' wails unstopped.

Homes shattered, destinies destroyed, visions blighted, tainted!
Dreams unfulfilled, aspirations dashed, expectations balkernized.
Like rams to the slaughter-slap-they are massacred
Blood mixed with water overflow as of ocean surge-our land now soaked of blood.

Shouts of joys, pangs of labour enveloped the air.
Dancing, clapping & merriments rents the atmosphere
When infants where brought forth-unity entrenched, love bond's strengthened
Each named after Divine similitude-giving credence to Source of to blossom.

Years gone by-offsprings lives now mould of grace
Tears cum sweetness, pains cum rejoicing-all blossomed in stature;
In favour with Divine cum humanity-accord ne'er to be broken.
Future now though bleak, emboldened in courage just to carry on.

Now of youthful prime-ready to implode, refreshen the earth space
Beautiful faces,graceful in hearts display-electrifying the little corners of their world
Some, great leaders to-be; some great people to impact and bless human race.
Full of life cum expectations-desires so ennobling, seasoned and pure.

Now, oh fate of a bloodthirsty nation! staring on faces' glare.
Had cut short in prime the youthful strengths entrenched-all desires now perished!
In a cruelest method of throats slashings-forcefully snuffing lives off the youth
No more sanctity of lives-helplessly butchered-no succour in sight.

Cut short in their prime-the brutish murderings in MUBI town!
Cut short in their prime-the barbaric killings of youth in the North!
Cut in their prime-the pathetic slaughter of the four at Aluu!
Cut in their prime-the endless bloodshed of innocents in the Nation...

Where have we gone astray-no more sanctity of life?
Who'll save us from bloodsucking demons in our fatherland?

My Queen as innocent in heart as in mind

As a greening tree plants bearing fruits in and out of seasons

My Queen as a precious jewel-priceless and treasurably endowed

You are of inestimable value-graciously and enigmatically endowed

My Queen as beautifully created as a budded rose of Sharon

A blossoming meadow on crystal clear river of life and progress

My Queen as a tender bud of foliage sprout-graciously blossom

Tenderly sprouts forth her new leaves of cometh see

My Queen as an angel-meteoric in sight, glamouringly outstanding

Captivating the minds, the soul of men, the sweet spirit of minds

My Queen, the angel of honesty, grace and the truth

An epitome of bowels of mercies, understanding culminating truest of love

Though the world may crumble and collapse to shreds

Though the earth may evil filled enthralling

Will I ever forget to love and to cherish you?

Can I ever exterminate these glorious thoughts of you?

In sunshine and in rainfall-you remain my treasure!

In summertime and in winterfall-you still my treasure

In peace time and in perilous times-you alone is my treasure

On this note: I will forever be true to you my Angel, my love-I LOVE YOU!!!

Will I live my life without your sparkling, doveling presence to guide?

Will I perambulate the whole wide world aimlessly without your sweet voice?

Though my arms are hungry for your sweet scented body-to touch and to feel

Our minds, our hearts and our spirits are in sync in endless copulation

The harsh weather of life can ne’er scale-dry our supple skins

The turmoil of artificially exemplified wicked deeds of humanity

The turbulent waters of ‘enemies’ snare’ can never quench our strongest love

More of attempts to sever, dissuade-the closer knitted our hearts and minds entwine forever

Nothing will ever sever our hearts-truly involved we are in pure e ecstatic love globule

Nothing will ever sever our minds of this grace and honesty-nothing can compare

Even death cold hand can’t sever this love of ours-of inestimable price

‘Cause ours is made in heaven, reveal here on earth-nothing can attempt to sever-I LOVE YOU!!!

Everything now beautifully adorned

Joy eternal in every clime and sound

Flood of peace subsume our souls

Smiling faces, happy mood, calm mien seems the souls

Dome of heaven in merriment filled

Springs, brooks, waterfalls, oceans, rivers-sing-song

Galaxies of Stars, moon, sun-all in order- azure the sky

Creator God rejoices with nod of affirmation

So perfect a love that binds our hearts, minds together

Transcends human thoughts-no end in sight

So perfect a love-life so full of assurances

Patience in tribulation, trust so enduring, fears no morrow

Apportion to us your grace so fitly entrancing

Apportion to us a peace transcending earthly strives

Make us wholly Yours-laughter pervades the air

Grant us the heart to grow old-hand in hand in blissful shore

Sweet song of victory-my life song I’ll raise

Reminiscence of what’d accomplished-victories won

Love conquers-grace our help-God our foundation
